In view of their success on the track, the Schnitzer family decided to open a "car preparation" branch in 1987. The first project was based on the queen of its day, the BMW E30 M3. The result was the ACS 3 Sport. In addition to a body kit that reinforces its brutal side, the ACS 3 also offers a reworked engine to deliver 245hp, with 273 Nm at 4700 rpm.
