Offered here is an attractive group of early studio portraits of Television / Movie actress ALLY SHEEDY. These photos were taken in 1985 the same year as her meteoric rise to stardom was occuring. In 1985, she starred in what was to become two of her best known films, \'St. Elmos Fire\' and \'The Breakfast Club\'. Ally has sustained an active acting career, but her \'cult following\' is largely because of the work she did in 1985 for her 2 most well known films. The images here nicely captured by Shoshana show her as she was then.
The lot of images consists of :
23 - Kodak EPR 6017 color negatives11 - 8 x 10 Black and white shots of various poses.5 - 8 x 10 Proof sheet (3 x 35 mm; 2 medium format)The photographer is Rose Shoshana, who currently operates the Rose Gallery in Santa Monica, CA where she represents artists whose works on paper are offered. Prior to her starting her own gallery, Rose was a photographer to many iconic names in the entertainment industry.
We have several individual lots from the effects that were in the storage locker when it was saleed earlier this year for non payment of fees. Please watch our other listings for other interesting and scarce, early images of entertainers who were photographed by Shoshana in the 1980\'s.
