For those unfamiliar with Sebastian miniatures,.. they were started in 1938 by Mr. Prescott Baston. His pieces were made of ceramstone rather than the traditional fired porcelain which made them less expensive. They are all hand cast & hand painted. He sold retail, private commissions, and collectors clubs. All pieces are marked, usually with date and item name & no two pieces are exactly alike.

This is \"For You\" and depicts a young man giving candy to his sweetheart-maybe for Valentine\'s Day. All of these pieces have been in a display for over 20 years so have some dust and dirt (we didn\'t want to wash up and take a chance on damaging) but are in perfect condition.
