My dad was the quintessential Corvette guy in the 1960\'s - 1990\'s. We had up to sixteen Corvettes at one time, including two brand new 1984s. I grew up at car shows with Armor All in my veins.

My dad subscribed to Vette Vues for years. Most of them went away a long time ago but this one was in with family pictures. It\'s the August 1983 issue which is exactly when my dad bought THE first 1984 Corvette in the Chicagoland area. This issue is in nearly new condition with no damages or staining beyond the aging of paper for forty years.

This lot includes two 80\'s vintage Corvette koozies and four metal dash plaques. We used to have an entire rec room (so 80\'s!) full of this kind of stuff. The koozies are white padded and insulated fabric. One is trimmed in red and the other in blue. The blue one is still on it\'s original cardboard card. Both have a bit of light staining on them. See photos.

There are two 1987 Skips Reunion copper colored metal dash plaques. They\'re the size of a business card and super sharp. The Corvette club that my parents chartered, Phantom Vettes of Lake County, IL, participated in this show with a dozen or so cars from our club.

The other two plaques are from a different Corvette club, North Shore Corvette Club of Libertyville, IL. This was for a 1986 club event, a road rallye with a scavenger hunt. My mom helped run the event and map the route.

All this cool, vintage Corvette stuff is getting harder to find. Don\'t forget to wrap your ass in fiberglass.
