1977 Fostoria Glass Images Vase One of a Kind Signed and Dated 6":

This Fostoria 6” vaseis part of Fostoria’s Designer Collections in a pattern they named Images. It is signed Fostoria 77 on the bottom edge ofthe vase and still has part of the Fostoria sticker on the neck. This is considered to be one of a kindbecause Fostoria did not make any two of the pieces in this collection the samedue to the fact that they were formed by hand.The collection was designed by James Carpenter who was furloughed fromSteuben to design 28 pieces in four different groups for the collection. They were very expensive to make and topurchase costing between $300 and $400 so production was limited to about 1200pieces and only occurred from 1977 to 1978.This vase is in excellent condition with no chips, hairlines, or other damage. It is what I would call white cased glass with a multicolor design. This is a unique piece for a collection!
