This unique Bossons Chalkware wall mask sculpture depicts a sea captain from Charles Dickens' book characters. Handmade in 1972 in Congleton, England, this piece is a medium-sized, hand-painted, 3D effect sculpture made of Gypsum Plaster/chalkware. The multicolor sea captain figure is 5 inches in height, 3.75 inches in width, and weighs 14.3 oz.

This original, late 20th-century, unboxed piece features intricate carving and is perfect for any room in the house. The sculpture is a part of the Charles Dickens collection. It comes with a number of unique features such as the painted finish, the pattern/chalkware heads, and its depiction of a beloved character.
