About $3 million worth of various equipment, being returned from Vietnam, arrived on the ship. It is being sold at low cost to government agencies or will be given to schools and hospitals. As the Eighth Naval District Band played a march, a multi-ton concrete mixer was unloaded at the Gulf Outport Army Terminal here Tuesday from the S.S. Frederick Lykes. The reason for the musical salute and presence of various dignitaries was an entire shipload of surplus supplies, being returned to the United States from South Vietnam.Photo measures 10 x 8inches.
