This is a Vietnam War-era Gerber Mark II MK2 combat fighting knife with a cant blade. It was made By Gerber in 1967 and in the nicest shape of many I have seen. The knife is USMC soldier named, indicating it was likely used by a member of the United States Marine Corps during the conflict. This knife is a piece of militaria and a collectible item.
