Vietnam War Era, Post War M1967 Field Pack, Combat. Genuine USGI Surplus. This is a 2nd model M1967, it is used, worn on a pistol belt w a full load it's hard to distinguish this pack from a very expensive 1st model m1967. A great alternative to a reproduction, because it is genuine USGI. There appears to be a repair to the D ring that shouldn't hanker things, the liner is ok, it's not stiff. This pack is old and has been in storage so it smells like military surplus does (I love that smell), it is OD Green, made of nylon and the stampings are visible. All the grommets are intact, the grommets separate this model from the "training packs" and give it the look. Stamped under pack lid ,field pack combat m1967. Has some marker writing on it, and a red paper tag stapled to the edge of the pack lid, I thought it looked cool so I left it.
