NOW THIS IS COOL!Here is an original VINTAGE RALEIGH compact bicycle with 16\" wheels! This is a RARE good quality bike Made In England! (Sturmey Archer rear hub is dated 1965?) If you like cool original bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! *What a GREAT FIND! I have NEVER seen another like this!
*This is a great bike that anadult or a young person can ride. It has a cooldesign original paint frame, original Raleigh head badge, cool handlebars, Schwinn cruiser style seat, 3-piececranks, cool pedals, and MORE! What a great bike! It has quick release handlebars, and seat post for fast adjustment! (they are NOT frozen in place)I have NEVER seen a bike quite like this especially in the cool purple/pinkish color! Has a DYNO HUB! (front fender mount headlight with a generator built in the front wheel. COOL but is unstested) and some REALLY REALLY COOL Raleigh 16\" REDLINE tires! (these may fit the front of a Schwinn Apple Krate Stingray?)
*I believe this bike to be nearly all original parts from when it was new and in ok condition for its age! (see pics and be your own judge)*The bike measures approx 24 1/2\" from the ground to the top of the seat post tube. Measures approx 30\" to the top of the seat at its LOWEST setting. An adult can easily ride this! It measures approx 21\' from the center of the seat post tube to the center of the head tube. Measures approx 15\" from the center of the cranks to the top of the seat post tube. (the seat goes up quite high on this one!)*This bike has so many uses! This is a great bike for someone who would like to carry a bike in the trunk of their car, van, or truck. Also great if you want to keep it inside your house or apartment and are limited on space. Dont forget how much FUN these are to take along camping, to the races, or the drag race pits! Great for boaters or people with RVs. Ride it to the station and take it on the train, subway, or on the bus! Dont worry about it having to leave it out in the weather or having to lock it up! Take it right into your office with you! Easily fits into a small area. *The tires are vintage 16x1.75\" Raleigh REDLINE tires and do hold air. The bike has chrome rims front and rear with a STURMEY ARCHER 3-speed rear hub. (hub is dated 65)*The bike is an original THREE SPEED twist grip with hand controlled brakes. The gears shift and the brakes are operable. (may need finetuning adjustment) Its fun to ride!*NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is ok for its age. The paint has survived fairly well for a 50+ year old bicycle! (has chips scratches etc) The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) Rear fender and chainguard were gone long before I got the bike! If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you offer. *Take good care of it and this will be agreat investment that will only go UP in value! PAYMENT TERMS: Paypal is \'s accepted form of payment. Items are shipped every Tuesday and every Friday. Payments received by Monday generally ship on Tuesday. Payments received after generally ship on Friday.

SHIPPING TERMS: SHIPPING TIME I ship bikes on Tuesdays and Fridays via Fed Ex. Generally, if I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Monday, it allows me enough time to get your bike to the shop for packing and to ship along with the Tuesday AM shipment. If I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Thursday, it gives enough time to have it packed and ship Friday AM. If paid after that time, please expect it to go out with the next shipment.
