Fond High School memories are waiting with this copy of “EVENING IN PARIS”. A 45rpm, 7” record and THEME of the 1963 LANSFORD HIGH SCHOOL JUNIOR-SENIOR PROM, part the Panther Valley School District of Carbon & Schuylkill Counties, PA. This record was professionally Pressed for the event and presumably given to the junior and senior Prom goers. Side one is Cole Porters “I Love Paris” with the always popular “Goodnight Sweetheart” on the reverse. These are both instrumental versions.

The record is in good to very good condition. It does have a few scratches but both sides seem to play through nicely with a pop or click here and there, but no skips or anything egregious that would spoil the mood. The sleeve however is in poor condition, due mostly to the fact that it is completely split all around the seams. The covers themselves are good to very good. Just the split that gets the bad grade.

So, re-live the moments and savor that dance one more time. These nostalgic prom night records were generally made in small quantities, with a low survival rate. As such they’re hard to find and scarcely turn up, especially for the smaller schools. Hope this can put a smile on someones face.
