The first was the Southeasternchampionship scrambles, then the Georgiastate championship scrambles and lastwas the South Atlantic championshipscrambles. It promotedtrials and enduros with trophies, pictures and explanatorymatter, backed up by Christy’s Matchless trials model.A sidewalk art exhibit on Main Street in Daytona, attracted many cyclists to view thepaintings and sculpture. An enjoyable change from the steady diet of racing.The Daytona Armory, scene of the International Motorcycle Show, was a popularmeeting place for all riders.This is part of the crowd, which numbered in the thousands, that attended theInternational Motorcycle Show and kept the exhibitors busy handing out literature andanswering questions.14270-6305-23
