1960s Recrafted ESSAYONS Officer's Button Earrings, US Army Corp of Engineers:

Beautiful gold plated brass ESSAYONS dress and mess dress jacket buttons recrafted into screw back earrings. Featuring a spread wing eagle with the Essayons banner, the engineer's fort along the water with a rising sun. We believe the buttons are from the 1960s era US Federal Corp of Engineers, Army and were made by N.S. Meyer Inc. New York. They were acquired from our geologist's estate in Louisville KY. The main picture shows the earrings with the face at an angle, though the face is actually perfectly upright when worn. Appx 1"diameter.~~~
