1960's HARMONY HOUSE Space Age PULL-DOWN CEILING LIGHT Mid-Century:

This is a vintage Harmony House pull-down ceiling pendant light. Dates to the 1960's and has a great Mid-Century "Space Age" style. To me it looks like a Flying Saucer. The fixture measures 14" in diameter and made of bright brass. The bulb inside illuminates both Up and Down as there are glass shades on both sides of the fixture. Also, the brass on the side has Starburst cut-outs that shine when the fixture turned on. Great visual appeal on or off. There is a maker's label on inside of the ceiling bezel. Only issue with the light is the "pull-down" cord has lost its spring tension in the center reel. It needs to be repaired or eliminated unless you want the fixture hanging down 36" from the ceiling. Great fixture.Guaranteed to please the new owner or I'll buy it back. Check my response.
