The boarding pass indicates that the Mandarin Flight was operating DC-6Bs at the time this boarding car was used. These aircraft were introduced in 1958 only to be replaced in 1961 by Convair 880Ms, whereupon CAT became the first airline operating in the Pacific to offer service entirely using jet aircraft.
