This vintage 1958 Royal Speed King Portable Typewriter is in a rare Double Tan color. This manual typewriter is in good working condition and comes with a locking case for safekeeping. Sadly, there is no key. The typewriter has a steel body and was manufactured in the United States.

Overall, it is in exquisite condition. It appears to have been serviced fairly recently as it is very clean. While testing the keys, the letter "J" was slow to return while all the others returned smoothly. The obvious flaw is the writing in Sharpie on the top. We could attempt removing the markings but believe with true integrity that it is better suited for the new owner to do. There are a few nicks and scuffs if you begin looking closely.

This collectible item would make a great addition to any writing instrument collection. The Royal Speed King typewriter features a portable design and is easy to use. It is perfect for those who appreciate vintage technology and the art of manual typing.
