All rights reserved.Photographer pass for the 1956 SCCA Palm Springs National Championship Road Races, February 25-26, 1956. This was the first running of the Palm Springs race which was held at the municipal airport. Carroll Shelby took top honors at the event, driving a Ferrari 410 Sport. Pete Lovely, John Barneson, Bob Drake, and James Lowe were other top-placing drivers at the event. Pass was held by Chuck Eastman, a photographer working for the Valley-Times, a North Hollywood newspaper that ceased publication in 1970.Measures 3 5/8\" x 3 5/8\" (9 cm x 9 cm). In very good condition, with some yellowing from age and the top corner where the string was attached torn off. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE
