All rights reserved.Press pass for the 1956 Santa Barbara National Championship Road Races, Sept. 1-2, 1956. This was the sixth running of the Santa Barbara race. Bruce Murphy took top honors at the event, driving a Kurtis-Buick. Jean Pierre Kunstle, Fred Woodward, and John von Neumann were other top-placing drivers at the event. Pass was held by Chuck Eastman, a photographer working for the Valley-Times, a North Hollywood newspaper that ceased publication in 1970.Measures 3 1/2\" x 4 1/4\" (9 cm x 11 cm). In very good condition, with some yellowing from age. Pass has a closed tear where the pass was pulled off its attached string.BUY WITH CONFIDENCE
