1951 Restored Schwinn Red Phantom - Original Chicago Schwinn in Great Condition:

1951 Schwinn Red Phantom - restored and in excellent condition. It\'s been in my mother\'s living room for about 10 years, but she\'s out of space. Chrome is in perfect condition. There are a few paint chips (pictured) and some spots where the restoration paint is imperfect (also pictured). I have more photos, but can only upload 24 to .
It rides incredibly smoothly, and the drum brake works perfectly. No creaks or grinding or anything I could hear while test riding the bike that would indicate anything wrong mechanically. The sidewalls of the tires are slightly dry and beginning to crack, but I swapped out the tubes and they\'re holding air.
Beautiful bike to ride or decorate with. This bike is much much older than me, so if you have any specific questions or if there is anything I\'ve left out, I\'m happy to help. Serial no. indicates it was completed in the Chicago Schwinn factory in July of 1951.
