8 1/2\" wide by 11\" tall multi- paged program from the 1951 Young Democrats of Indiana dinner during the state & national campaign held at the Claypool Hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana during the Harry S Truman Presidency. Cover features the image of a Democratic Rooster (Born in Greenfield, Indiana) titled: \"Seventh Biennial Convention Program Young Democrats of Indiana July 20 and 21, 1951 Claypool Hotel Indianapolis, Indiana\" on front and has a union bug logo and printer\'s name on the back cover. Program opens to a photo of sitting President Harry S Truman and has photos and bios of all the Democratic candidates running that year including a 2-page letter / photo spread of Governor Henry F. Schricker with a message from Indianapolis Mayor Phil Bayt and featuring Indiana Schricker, Bayt, Frank McHale, Andy Jacobs as the main speakers. Has several pages picturing the candidates for just about every office in Marion County along with the Marion County Democratic platform and pledge to the people of Marion County inside.
