Presented for you today is this LOVELY set of Chalkware Wall figurines produced in the 1950s by Universal Statuary Corporation in Chicago. One of the hangings presents a young man with a ring in hand, ready to propose. The other figurine presents a lovely young lady, overjoyed by the proposal.
The Young woman's flowers appear damaged, and both items could use new paper backing, as the original is slowly flaking away.
Each portrait measures 14.5" tall by 11" wide by 2.25" deep.
