In addition to this well maintained vintage machine, it come with the original walnut cabinet, where it can be lowered and tucked out of sight, and the matching walnut sewing stool, which has a top that lifts up for hidden compartments/ storage.

This family heirloom was purchased by my father as a gift to my mother on her 21st birthday. This has been a centerpiece of our family, as she used it to make clothes for all her children. She also used it to support the family from home, making custom draperies for JC Penney’s and various pieces of handiwork, such as purses from old jeans, that she would then sell.

Our preference is to keep these items together as a set: sewing machine, cabinet & stool.
