Bakelite radios from the 40\'s without cracks are getting hard to find. This is one, a very nice Fada that is still in great condition. I cleaned this up some and it came out pretty well. There are no cracks or breaks and will be packed well to assure it doesn\'t acquire any. It also is receiving AM-FM stations with very little static. I was surprised when I plugged this in and received stations so well. Now keep in mind the age and there are no guarantees with this but I think it will be good for awhile. Power cord is good, knobs work as intended and original. The plastic dial face is not cracked or broke but is cloudy and some shrinkage. Chassis is secure and it has a good back cover.
