I believe this is a paperweight, it\'s 4 1/2\" in diameter and weighs about a pound. It has three cross sections of large copper cable under glass, with information about the cable and dated November 1947 on the bottom. I\'m not sure what the outer black material is, it reminds me of hard phenolic plastic, maybe Bakelite? There is a little light spot on the top, visible in the photos. There are no cracks. Some states require sales tax to be paid on internet sales. If your state is one of those, will automatically add the sales tax amount to your invoice and remit it to your state\'s department of revenue after you pay.
