You can see his true name spelling in photo # 8, along with his last car a 1958 Chevrolet Impala after it was recused from a junk yard in Lubbock and restored. This photo is not in the year book, I just added it so you can see the true spelling of Buddy's name. The 1958 Chevy Impala was bought by Norman Petty of Clovis, New Mexico and given to Buddy Holly so that Buddy could have a reliable form of transportation from Lubbock to Clovis, NM. Because Clovis is where most of Buddy's songs were recorded. It's a little funny but if you want to see what a piece of junk the 1958 Chevy Impala was go to You Tube and type in: buddy holly's 1958 Chevy impala and go to the Chris Walker version, it will be the first one that appears. E Bay won't let me put the link in. Any way if you go to about 1.50 seconds into the video and the junk yard owner is saying with a little bit of paint this car will be just like new. You will laugh. Their is only one picture of Patricia Holly in the year book. Shelf # 7.
