This is an Original portfolio with descriptive letterpress, complete with 21 photomechanical prints; b/w and color, accompanied by catalog entitled: Catalogue of The Complete Abbott Naval Aviation Collection. This portfolio contains reproductions of twenty-one naval aviation paintings commissioned by Abbott Laboratories and presented to the U.S. Navy. This collection includes works by artists Howard Baer, Robert Benney, Adolf Dehn, Don Freeman, Joseph Hirsch, Geroges Schreiber, and Lawrence Beall Smith. The folder measures 20.5" x 13.5". Theprints are various sizes, ranging from the smallest at 9.5" x 7.5", to the largest at 13" x 20".This set is complete and in good condition. There are a two prints that have the white matt corners with creases but the prints themselves are in good condition!
