For the next few weeks I will be listing assorted 19th & 20th century paper and ephemera from an estate in Manchester, New Hampshire. There will be early letters, documents, postcards, vintage photos, advertising, etc from the Manchester/Concord area, as well as other early ephemera from throughout New England - some dating back to the early 1800s.I frequent local sales and estate sales up and down the east coastwhere I pick up lots of fun old stuff and list almost all of it on . DESCRIPTION: Large old vintage menu, circa 1940s - 1950s (a sirloin steak cost $3.50, the complete steak dinner was $3.85). Measures 8.5 by 11 inches, four pages total. Small print on the back page reads, \"Mass, Old Age Tax 5%.\" The old age tax was in effect from 1941 - 1955, so we know the menu is from sometime during that stretch. The address is 717 - 719 Broadway, which is now where TRUE GROUNDS coffee shop and HOUSE OF KABOB are.All items guaranteed vintage and authentic - no reproductions or reprints. CONDITION: Excellent.Complete and intact, no creases, rips, stains, or other damage.
