1939 Lookout Christian Education Newspaper. Three Pages + Vintage Scripture Card:

Here are three pages of \"The Lookout\", the \"Magazine of Christian Education\", now more appropriately called a newspaper. One page has the CE (Christian Endeavor) banner, dated January 29th, 1939. The second page has an article titled \"Thanksgiving Mix-up\" and mentions how Thanksgiving was moved up a week in that year, dated November 26th, 1939. The back side has some pencil markings on a quiz. The last page is also dated Nov 26, 1939, and has some shorter pieces and a pencil marked answer portion of the quiz.
Also in the lot is a 3-1/8 in x 4-1/2 in card bearing a young girl and flowers with the verse \"Be ye kind to one another. Eph 4:32\" This Victorian image was used on numerous items in the early 20h century.
