6793.[Commemorative]. “New Brighton, Pennsylvania Centennial Celebration, May29 to June 4. 1938.” SIZE is approx. 2-1/4 x 4 inches. This is NOT atraditional Circular Coin Shape Wooden nickel, but a Very thin Rectangularwooden wafer Commemorative Souvenir with printing on both sides. . Printed inblack and red inks. Red ‘Union Bug” logo. Terms in black on one side, Redcircular Centennial Logo on other side. Stated that it could be redeemedfor American coinage at the Beaver County Trust Co. or Union National Bank.CONDITION: Circulated, Light wear, NO breaks or chipping to the wood.
