Vintage 1937 Parker Royal Challenger Fountain Pen Red Harringbone Model, Sword Clip Button Filler c. 1937(2nd Quarter) Made in USA
This listing is for a Vintage Parker Royal Challenger Fountain Pen with attractive Red Harringbone Pattern and Sword Clip. The barrel imprint is strong, bold and reads, "PARKER ROYAL CHALLENGER GEO. S. PARKER MADE IN U.S.A. 27"(see pictures). It is the standard senior size measuring approximately 5 1/8"" in length, or 130 mm. The 14k gold nib is "Fine" and is marked, "PARKER PEN MADE IN U.S.A. .37.". The condition is "Excellent", very clean. It is a very nice, well preserved pen(see pictures). Color is perfect, strong and vibrant. There are no cracks, scratches, or teeth marks. The gold trim on the clip and cap bands is clean with no brassing. The bottom tassieon the barrel shows wear to the gold/brassing(see pictures). Has newly replaced rubber bladder in good working condition.
