You are buying a SENSATIONAL piece of Gillette history; a Vintage 1934 Gillette Goodwill, #162 Old Type Safety Razor. This razor was manufactured by Gillette for only one year, features Reverse Studs in Diamond Shapes, and corner razor positioning posts stamped into the top-cap. The razor head and handle come in their original case along with the original decorative brass blade vault. The razor head, handle, and blade vault have been hand stripped, and hand polished to perfection.

The Gillette Diamond Logo and Made In USA markings on the underside of the blade-guard are deep and legible.
The blade-guard teeth are Laser Straight & Aligned.
The top-cap screws and unscrews PerfectlySmooth in to the handle.
The Original Ball-End Handle has been 100% Stabilized on both ends with PC-11 impermeable, waterproof, white paste epoxy, yet the typical hairline fractures in the barrel remain.
The original gold plating has been removed and the brass razor, handle, and blade vault has been painstakingly hand polished to perfection.
The handle knurling is well textured and deep.
The razor has been sterilized in Barbicide and is shave-ready.
