This scarce andcolorful card is one in a series of 30 cards issued by the American Chewing Products Corp. of Newark New Jersey entitled “ FLAGUM ” as a insert premium in their brand ofgum. This series is designated as E18-1d in Burdick’s American Card Catalogueand was issued in 1933. The front ofeach card features a colorful rendition of the a flag and a background scenethat is typical to the nation being featured.Similar images were used by the American Tobacco Company for their T59Series of Cards The back has advertisingfor the company and a little history of the country and flag. The cards are numbered. The cardmeasures 2 3/4 inches by 1 ½approximately, and features the flagof Brazil. The card does have some creasingand wear. I have scannedthe front and back of the card fairly large for you to be able to judgecondition for yourself.
