General Alvaro Obregon, President-Elect of Mexico was shot down by an assassin known as Juan Escapulario, as he sat a banquet in his honor at La Bombilla Restaurant at San Angel, 12 miles from Mexico City proper. The General died almost instantly and the assassin was captured. This picture shows General Obregon with his wife and children on the steps of their home.Photo measures 10 x 8.25inches.
