Although lapel studs were a popular campaign item in the late 1800\'s through Teddy Roosevelt and William H. Taft, there were still a few old fuddy-duddies around in the 1920\'s and \'30\'s who would buy them and allow some stud back, cello and metal items to be made for some profit. But there just weren\'t that many.
Here\'s a nice, little 11/16\" gold rim lapel stud with the victorious 1928 republican presidential candidate, Herbert Hoover on it. We hope that this will make a nice addition to someone\'s political collection and there\'s a matching one out there - somewhere - for his democrat opponent, Al Smith for you to look for and match with it.It isin nice condition but please look at our images to judge condition for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase.
