Michelson won a Nobel Prize for physics and Compton was a key figure in the Manhattan Project during WWII. The photo is the first of either men we have ever seen and it presents well, stamped on the back by NEA and with a full paper caption as well. A rare image in great shape that is an extremely important piece of science history.
