Photos 5 thru 8 show the all the Senior Class Members. Photo # 9 shows Seaside High School as it was in 1927. Photo # 10 shows the Seaside Yearbook Staff Members: Starting at the top, left to right: LaVerne Johnson, Charles Cartwright, Marjorie Stafford, Vada Spath, Laurence Kirk, Marie Daly, Lester Raw, Emily Babofferge, Saretta Jenkinson, Altamae Rutherauff and Irma Poole. Photo # 11 shows the school song and I believe Haystack Rock, which is located near the City of Seaside, in Cannon Beach and is a protected national wildlife refuge. Photo # 12 shows The Tillamook Head Trail as it was in 1927. In later years the Ecola State Park was developed and now the same trail goes through the park. Wrapping around the Tillamook Head National Recreation Area, between Seaside and Cannon Beach, Ecola State Park stretches along 9 miles of coastline and offers outstanding sightseeing and recreation opportunities with a storied past. Tidepooling, surfing and wildlife observation make Ecola State Park a destination year Round. Lands for Ecola State Park were acquired between 1932 and 1978 by gift and purchase from private owners and the federal government. The original tract of 451 acres was acquired in 1932 by gift and purchase from the Ecola Point and Indian Beach Corporation with corporation members Rodney Glisan, Florence Minott, Caroline Flanders donating their portion. Photo # 13 shows Senior, Vada Spath, winner of the statewide essay contest with many entries from all over the state of Oregon. Photo # 14 show Queen of Seaside and Empress of Clatsop Beaches in the Trails End Frolic. Photo #15 shows the Seaside Hotel as it was in 1928.Shelf # 60.
