Please examine photos. They are THIS item and are part of the description. I do not use stock photos or photos of other people’s items. This is a 10K yellow gold lapel pin in Fraternity pin style for \"BHS\" with \"26\" made by Folgers New York. It is black enamel with seed pearls and both pieces are mraked 10K in addition to Folgers and engraved reverse with the student\'s/graduate\'s initials M.A.F. This is most likely for Bushwick High School in Brooklyn on 400 Irving Avenue. The building, still there (now The Brooklyn School for Social Justice) was built circa 1912. Plans for the basement Gymnasiums/Assembly Rooms were published in The American Architect in 1914. Other possibilities are Boys High School also in Brooklyn and (William Cullen) Bryant High School in Queens (now Long Island High School). Melt for the gold is about $51. Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are describedhere-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described asnew, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item ofgiven age.
