This card is one in a series of 180 cards issuedin Canada by the Tobacco ProductsCorporation of Canada Located inMontreal Quebec . One card was inserted with their brand of Cigarettes during 1922. The Series is entitled“Movie Stars” and is listed in Burdick’s American Card Catalogue as seriesC142 Type 2. Thefront of each card features a handsome Black and White Photographic portraitimage of the featured star. The back features a brief bio of the starincluding movies the person has starredin Each card is numbered with the series 2 cards being #101-180. Thecard also indicates that an album could be had to hold the cards in. They use the same images that are used in theAmerican Tobacco Company series T85-2. This card is number 183 in the series andfeatures RUDOLPH VALENTINO . Here is some information I found aboutthem on the internet: Rodolfo Pietro Filiberto Raffaello Guglielmi di Valentinad\'Antonguolla (May 6, 1895 – August 23, 1926), known professionally as RudolphValentino and nicknamed The Latin Lover, was an Italian actor based in theUnited States who starred in several well-known silent films including The FourHorsemen of the Apocalypse, The Sheik, Blood and Sand, The Eagle, and The Sonof the Sheik. Valentino was a sexsymbol of the 1920s, known in Hollywood as the \"Latin Lover\" (a titleinvented for him by Hollywood moguls), the \"Great Lover\", or simplyValentino. His early death at the age of31 caused mass hysteria among his fans, further cementing his place in earlycinematic history as a cultural film icon.

Thecard measures 2 1/2 inches by 1 3/8 inches approximately. The card has some corner wear, and a cornercrease. I have scannedthe card front and back fairly large for you to be able to judge condition foryourself. They are a tough find.Due to the lower population in Canada than in the US, print runs in Canada were much smaller compared with American Cards. Because of this the majorityof all Canadian non sports cards are far scarcer than card issued in the US.
