McAndrew, the first great American general of World War One to die, arriving at the Maine Memorial, in Arlington National Cemetery. His favorite horse, followed the caisson from St. Patrick\'s church to the cemetery. Hundreds of troops from every unit within the vicinity of Washington took part in the funeral procession. General Pershing with other high officers of the army acted as honorary pallbearers. May 4 1922.Additional Information International
