Nazzaro—by then, 42 years old—drove his 804 Fiat to a first-place finish.Carlo Demand was an accomplished German artist and prolific illustrator. Motorsports artists as accomplished as Peter Helck were impressed by Demand\'s skill. Helck wrote about Demand: \"...the very best of these works are beyond my skills. There are a dozen in the [print] set which amaze me and I believe [one of them] to be just about the finest racing bit of art I have ever seen.\"As published in the book, Carlo Demand: In Motion and Color.
