This scarce cardis one in a series of 40 cards issued in Canada bythe NEILSON Chocolate Company. One was insertedinto each package of NEILSONS ChocolateBars. They are listed as V60 Type 2 in Burdick’s American Card Catalogue, they aretitled “Automobiles (Color) ”. Although no guide that I know of provides an actualdate of issued I have always assumed that it is some time around the 1920’s era due tothe age of the card features. Each cardfeatures a color photographic image of the automobile. Theback states that there are 40 cards in the series and also has advertising forNeilson’s Chocolates. This card number 33 in the series, and featuresa JORDAN. The Card measures 2 9/16 inches by 1 3/8 inches approximately. The card does have some creases.I havescanned the front and back of thecard fairly large so you can determine the condition for yourself.THESE CARDS WERE NEVER ISSUED IN THEU.S. Due to the lower populationin Canada than in the US, print runs inCanada were much smaller comparedwith American Cards. Because of this themajority of all Canadian non sports cards are far scarcer than card issued in the U.S. and U.K.
