1920s ANTIQUE Native American Bronze-Clad Statue Bookends by Pompeian:

These antique bookends were manufactured by the Pompeian Bronze Companyaround 1920. Pompeian was based out of Brooklyn, New York and went out of business by the 1930s leaving behind beautiful pieces such as this.
The figures are made out of bronze-clad and retain their original factory paint. They are heavy at about 8 pounds and are about 8 inches tall by 6 inches long and 3 and 3/4 inches wide.
The items are sold as-is. We are offering a much better deal than other sellers of these bookends because one of the figures has a small crack on its neckline (please see detail in the provided pictures).
Please note that once Pompeian went out of business, their molds were purchased by the Marion Bronze Company, which manufactured reproductions that feature an MB signature on the back of the bookends. However, we are selling original pieces from around 1920 by the Pompeian Bronze Company vs. the later reproductions by MB. Both the originals and the reproductions are extremely hard to find, but the originals commend a higher price.
As you will see if you look, these bookends are antique and extremely rare. They would be the centerpiece of any bookend collection.
