1920\'s (previous originally housed painting dated 1927) Newcomb Macklin gilded/carved/incised/textured gesso decorated frame for standard 18\" by 20\" artwork. Actual rabbet measures 18 1/4\" by 20 1/4\", molding width 3 1/2\", outer dimensions 24 1/4\" by 26 1/4\", visible opening from front 17 3/8\" by 19 3/8\". Condition excellent for age, slight miter cracks, very minor finish blemishes.
