For sale is a beautiful medium to large size 1920\'s Faux Painted Tiger Wood Frame, decorated in deco and nouveau gesso accents with a gilt finish. The frame\'s outer dimensions measure approximately 19-1/4\" x 23-1/8\" and will fit art measuring 16\" x 20\" (actual rabbet reverse measurement opening is 16-1/8\" x 20-1/8\"). The width of the rabbet measures 1/4\" x 5/16\" deep, and the front facing opening measures approximately 15-3/4\" X 19-1/2\". Overall width of frame is 1-7/8\" wide and it has an overall depth of 3/4\".Unmarked as to maker or source of manuf. The frame is made of wood and in excellent condition with some signs of age, but no damage, an elegant touch to an art display. The frame was purchased from the estate of a local antiques dealer.
