ca 1919 real photo postcard showing the British Vickers Vimy airplane, presumably the one that made the first non-stop crossing of the Atlantic Ocean, performed by John Alcock and Arthur Brown in June 1919, according to period, fountain pen-inked caption.

This plane was rushed through development in order to give Great Britain a huge air advantage during World War 1 but it wasn\'t ready to fly until 1919.
