Look at this ! Don't miss it! - Here is a beautiful vanity set. All four pieces, including a Trinket box, a Pin box, a Ring collector and a Hair receiver, are made of thick and genuine Ebony, and are accented with solid Sterling Silver
- The hallmarks on the Sterling silver give us an idea as to the dates of production. Each piece's marks, however, differs from the rest, but they are all from the period 1919-1933. All silver is of the same pattern and quality, and what we believe happened is that the atelier that produced the set used accents they ordered from different silversmiths during the period
- The base of all pieces is dark black Ebony wood, and they are all marked on the bottom - Ebony, Made in England
- All pieces are quite heavy, a typical characteristic of ebony
- The Silver pieces are all hand chased
- The hair receiver has a top, which unscrews. The boxes open and close firmly
- The trinket box is lined with violet velvet
- Measurements: Approx.
Trinket box: 6.5" x 3.5" x 1.75"
Pin box: 5" x 2.75" x 1.3"
Ring Stand: 4.75" high 2.5" diameter
Hair Receiver: 2.5" high, 2.25" diameter
- Condition: Very Good overall, very hard to find such a well preserved set
