This magnificent poster was created by the artist Charles Livingston Bull in 1918 for the United States Treasury Department in support of their War Savings Stamps campaign. A supersized majestic American Bald Eagle dominates the image as he lords over a swarm of fighter aircraft flying past. Bull’s study of taxidermy in his youth influenced his work as an illustrator. This poster is a great example of the elegant depictions of wildlife found throughout his work as an illustrator.

This antique original poster is in excellent, near mint condition with just modest toning from age and slight handling wear. The colors retain their original vibrancy and poster displays beautifully with dramatic effect. Overall condition is excellent.
