Circa 1920\'s Model T Ford eight boxed sets of three comprising twenty four total rear curtain glass lights for Ford cars models 1917-1922. This unusual offering is comprised of eight boxed sets of three curtain lights of the type used in Ford Model T cars from 1917-1922. These were made in the 1920\'s by the Crawford Mfg. Co. We are offering the box which originally would have held 12 sets of three. We are offering the box just as we found it with 8 complete sets of three present. So, we are offering a total of 24 curtain lights. Each set of three has its own individual box.
The 8 individually boxed sets are housed in one larger original box which has the wording on it: \"Crawford Rear Curtain Glass Lights For Ford Cars 1917-1922 Manufactured By Crawford Mfg., Co. Inc. Richmond, Va.\" Also printed on the box is \"One Dozen No. 99\". As mentioned we are offering with eight of the original interior boxed sets present. The exterior box has age browning, some scuffs, & stains, & a few small tears to the flaps. But, all of the exterior box is present.Each of the eight interior boxes also have the maker\'s info printed on the boxes. Each of the interior boxes includes three complete sets of rear curtain glass lights for Ford Model T cars 1917-1922. Each individual set is comprised of two black metal frames some screws & nuts & a sheet of glass. So, with the purchase of this listing you will receive a total of 24 rear curtain glass lights (two metal frames for each light so 48 metal frames total are present), all the screws & nuts to assemble them, 24 sheets of glass, eight interior boxes, one exterior box which houses the eight boxes. Each of the metal frames are in fresh bright glossy condition & show no wear. Each of the interior boxes except one contains the screws & nuts in a factory sealed envelop. The other one has loose screws & nuts.Four of the interior boxes have some tears & chips to some of the flaps & slightly in from the flaps. One out of the four with some damage to the cardboard on one end of the box has detached cardboard in that area. There may be a few chips of the cardboard missing on that one box at that one end. The other four original cardboard boxes are all in excellent & entirely intact including all of the undamaged flaps.The outside box measures 14 inches by 12 inches by 8 inches. Each inside box measures 11 inches by 6 3/4 inches by 1 1/4 inches. Each metal frame has the maker\'s marking. Each metal frame has an outside measurement of 10 3/4 inches by 6 5/8 inches & an inside measurement of 8 5/8 inches by 4 7/16 inches. The size of each pane of glass is 9 1/4 inches by 5 inches. The weight of the entire grouping of eight boxed sets contained in the large exterior box is 11 pounds 12.4 ounces. A rare & unusual find to encounter this group of eight boxed sets of three all in their original individual boxes as well as the original large exterior box.Please examine the photos closely & purchase based on your own judgement as to condition & value.
