This listing is for a BEAUTIFUL SINGLE-SCENE WALL CALENDAR SPONSORED BY WILLIAMS DRUG COMPANY OF PARKERSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA. It features a plastic (could be glass? but I am guessing plastic - doesn\'t feel heavy) embossed color portrait of a Victorian lady with a yellow dress and hair piece, a small tear-off calendar, and a saying by James Whitcomb Riley. It measures 10\" by 8\", the oval shaped embossed portrait is about 5.3\" by 3.3\', is made of thick cardboard and can be hung up with what I assume is the original string. All months are present on the tear-off. It is in GOOD OR BETTER CONDITION, with one issue being a scratch on the plastic Victorian plate - feelable but not visible when viewing head-on; only when viewing sideways and in the glare of an overhead light (if you get my drift). There is a small tear to cardboard backing bottom edge just to the right of the calendar, which extends about 1/2 inch to the brown paper, there is wear and small tearing to bottom right corner and a small triangle cut out of the top right corner. Otherwise, light edge wear, no marks or tears. A VERY NICE ANTIQUE CALENDAR.
