Up for sale isthis extremely rare 1913Major Drapkin & Co.\"CINEMATOGRAPH ACTORS\" silent film star card ofMARY PICKFORD.

I believe this is Mary\'s first ever trading card, or \'rookie\' card. This is actually one of two different cards she has in this set.

Very scarce card. Issued in England with cigarettes. 1913\'s \'Cinematograph Actors\' has the distinction of being the very first cigarette card set to exclusively feature film stars. The early pioneers of the silent era were in that set and Mary Pickford was the biggest actress of the 1910\'s and 1920\'s - the \"Queen of the Movies\"!

The card pictured is the exact one you\'ll receive. I believe this card is trimmed, since it\'s thin around the borders compared to typical examples. Aside from that it\'s in excellent condition, with very slight surface and corner wear with no creases. Size is approx. 1 5/8\" x 2 9/16\".
